Celebrate the festive season with the new collection of Panerai colored straps in alligator. With eleven gorgeous variations, the range consists of eight straps with a semi-matt finish and three with a shiny finish, for men and women.
For Panerai, the vibrant colours go wonderfully with the minimalist lines of its watches. The straps go amazing well and are unquestionably Panerai’s style. The white version is the new entrant to the semi-matt alligator straps already in the range – red, green, blue, and pink, Bordeaux, orange and yellow. All new straps with a polished finish, available in more intense shades of red, dark pink and violet are sure to be the rage. The workmanship involved in the creation of straps with a polished finish includes a process of hand polishing using special agate stones.
The leather used for Panerai straps is exquisite, distinguished by large regular scales according to the TEC standard (Toutes Écailles Carrées: rectangular scales only). The raw material comes from monitored farms in Louisiana in the United States, which operate in compliance with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) agreed in Washington DC in the 1970s.
Another element which is characteristic of the high manufacturing standards of Panerai straps is the special technique known as rembordé: this means that the upper leather is accurately folded and sealed round the edges of the strap, providing greater resistance to creasing and wear. Also the internal lining of the straps, made of soft natural leather, can breathe while being resistant to humidity and is therefore very comfortable. Numerous different tests are carried out on Panerai straps in order to guarantee the highest quality and the best performance. The sewing too is an extremely well-finished detail
The new coloured straps in alligator are available for the Radiomir 1940 (diameter 42mm), Luminor 1950 (42mm) and Luminor (40mm). They can create many original colour combinations with the dials of Panerai’s watches.
