Weekly Watch

Every woman’s dream watch; every man’s mark of distinction. Chopard comes with a legacy, expertise and a grandiose quality that is exclusive to the brand. We are in the midst of a second wave, here in India, and the mood is way down. Writing gives me my little source of delight and it just seemed the perfect timing for Chopard to re-introduce Happy Sport the First – The rebirth of the 1993 icon. Caroline Scheufele  who featured on the third cover of The Exquisite Edge, the brand has left its imprint in my mind. Stylish. contemporary, haute and bold, this timepiece makes a stunning statement. Get up and dance, is the message that comes across and yes, I did.    – Priyanka Sippy

Happy Sport Chopard

The definitive allure for contemporary women, Happy Sport is the result of a stroke of genius of a young woman driven by boundless creativity and originality. First introduced by Caroline Scheufele in 1993, it embodies the countless transformations of an era and epitomizes the Joie de Vivre and free-spirited attitude to which contemporary women aspire. Having become an archetypal statement of style and a watchmaking icon, the Happy Sport Collection has continued to stage the enchanting choreography of its dancing diamonds through an assembly of variations that have constantly fascinated women.

Chopard unveils Happy Sport the First: – two 1,993 and 788-piece limited-edition re-releases of the very first watch presented when the collection was launched. Both are undeniably an ode to their iconic predecessor, with its legendary diamonds and “pebble-link” bracelet. Major innovations have been added, this time around- a new case in Lucent Steel A223 redesigned in a 33 mm diameter inspired by the principles of the golden ratio, as well as the manufactured Chopard 09.01-C movement with automatic winding.

A first, Happy Sport watch is appearing in an optimally comfortable 33 mm-diameter case inspired by the ‘golden ratio’ principles of aesthetic harmony. Seven new references are joining the collection in a rich variety of models: four two-tone watches featuring a Lucent Steel A223 case embellished with ethical 18-carat rose gold, and three entirely crafted from ethical 18-carat rose gold, available on a leather strap or metal bracelet. An eighth version in ethical 18-carat white gold is entirely set with diamonds. A dress watch to aspire for.

All of them come with the manufactured Chopard 09.01-C movement with automatic winding and each dial is graced with the legendary dancing diamonds.

Get up and dance.
